Golf insoles: a stronger foundation for your swing

You’ve fitted your clubs. What about the foundation you swing from?

The Get Grounded team

Every swing starts at your feet. They connect you to the ground as you load, rotate and accelerate the club. Giving that connection more attention is the idea behind Get Grounded’s golf performance insoles.

Your golf shoes provide traction on the turf. Inside them, your insoles help support the connection between your feet and your shoes. Both deserve a place in your performance setup.

Built for the way golfers move

Golf asks your feet to handle rotation, shifting pressure and thousands of steps in a round.

Get Grounded insoles are designed with those demands in mind. Heel support, support through the arch and carefully shaped forefoot features work towards one goal: a stable foundation that lets you swing with confidence.

The ambition is simple: better control underfoot, with the freedom to swing faster and the potential to hit further.

Why the ground matters

During your swing, you apply force to the ground and the ground pushes back. How you use that interaction is part of how you generate speed.

That’s why we focus on the connection beneath the player. Our golf performance insoles are designed to support that foundation as you load and rotate, helping you feel secure enough to commit to the shot.

It’s the same attention to detail you give the rest of your equipment, applied inside your shoes.

Delivered to your door or fitted to you

Get Grounded offers two routes, depending on the experience and level of personalisation you want.

Semi-custom golf insoles: a convenient option you can order online and have delivered to your door. Golf-specific support without a studio appointment.

Full-custom golf insoles: a personal fitting at our Hoofddorp studio, including a 3D scan and a conversation about your feet, shoes and golf. Built around your individual foot shape for a more personalised fit.

Both start with the same belief: your feet deserve equipment designed for golf.

Get the fit right

Check that your chosen insoles suit your golf shoes and follow the fitting instructions. Where the original liner is removable, replacing it helps preserve space inside the shoe. Your feet should feel supported, with enough room for your toes.

Start with a shorter practice session and build up to a full round. Pay attention to your confidence at address, your support through the swing and how your feet feel walking off the eighteenth.

Every swing starts at your feet. Give yours a foundation worth building on.

Common questions about golf insoles

What do golf insoles do?
Golf performance insoles provide support inside your shoes for the demands of swinging and walking the course. Get Grounded focuses on a stable foundation, helping you feel supported as you load, rotate and commit to the shot.
Can golf insoles help me swing faster and hit further?
They’re designed to support the foundation you generate speed from. A more secure connection underfoot can support a confident, committed swing, with the potential for more speed and distance. The improvement will depend on the golfer, their movement and the fit.
How are golf insoles different from standard insoles?
Standard insoles vary: some mainly provide cushioning, while others offer structured support. Golf-specific insoles consider the combination of rotational movement, shifting pressure and walking a full round. Get Grounded’s design brings those demands together.
Should I choose semi-custom or full-custom golf insoles?
Choose the experience that suits you. Our semi-custom insoles can be ordered online and delivered to your door. Our full-custom option includes a personal fitting and 3D scan at our Hoofddorp studio, with insoles built around your individual foot shape.
Will they fit my golf shoes?
Fit depends on the shoe’s shape, available space and whether its original liner is removable. Follow the fitting instructions and check that your heel feels secure and your toes have enough room. If you rotate between different golf shoes, check each pair.
What does the toe bar do?
The soft toe bar provides a gentle reference beneath your toes. It compresses under load, becoming less noticeable as you walk. It is designed to provide feedback without feeling like a rigid ridge beneath your foot.
Do golf insoles take time to get used to?
New support can feel unfamiliar at first. Start with a shorter practice session and build up as the fit feels comfortable. If you experience pain or persistent discomfort, stop using them and have the fit checked.
How long do golf insoles last?
Lifespan depends on how often you play and walk, how you care for them and the materials involved. Check periodically for visible damage, lasting compression or a noticeable change in support, and follow the product’s care guidance.
